This month, Bluepoint’s Managing Director, Kathryn Aves, successfully completed the DCD Academy’s Data Centre Design Awareness course.
In an era where digital transformation drives every facet of business operations, the role of well designed, robust, and sustainable data centres cannot be overstated. Bluepoint, a leading name in data infrastructure and data centre design and build services, has recently achieved another accreditation to add to its list of existing data centre certifications, including its CDCDP (Certified Data Design Professional), and CDCTP (Certified Data Centre Technician Professional) certificates.
The recently completed DCD Awareness course encompasses the basic principles of data centre design, tracking its history from the early days of the mainframe to the modern enterprise data centre in its many forms and the future. It has modules on all the major sub-systems of a mission critical facility and their interdependencies, including power, cooling, compute, and network.
When asked, Bluepoint MD Kathryn Aves said:
“This should demonstrate to our existing and future Data Centre clients our commitment to stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practice, when it comes to successful data centre design, build, and ongoing maintenance.”
Bluepoint’s latest achievement of the data centre design certification not only underscores Bluepoint’s commitment to excellence but marks another step forward in its mission to provide cutting-edge, sustainable, and reliable data infrastructure installations. As technology continues to advance and the demand for efficient data processing grows, Bluepoint is well positioned to manage your data infrastructure needs.
